It might be from the eye of the beholder as a paranormal or supernatural ability, that the enchanter uses in order to enchant artifacts or magical items.

This school of magic is for experts only, RTFM in it's pure and natural way there is no way for mistakes, at least not here... Encahantement is so magical, ithas the ability to attain objectives using supernatural or nonrational means, like making a broom fly, or whatever you can wish for.
