He entered the tiny store and played the materialist, asking for “decorative books for the living room.”

The merchant priced them at 150 NIS each.

Feigning frivolity, he laughed: “Van Gogh? Like the vodka? A bottle costs less than your book!”

Offended, the seller refused his 200 NIS offer. He left — but later returned, re-offered, and purchased both.

Two colors: blue and yellow — as if the sun and the dream had agreed to follow him home.
He placed the Van Gogh book open in his living room.

A sketch waited there — simple, yet insistent. For four months he could not decipher it.

Then he opened the book from the beginning and met Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

He painted Henri on his tablet, thinking, “What was he thinking of?”

During that meditation the revelation came: Van Gogh did not paint lines — he painted breath.
Long strokes = slow exhale.

Dots = short breaths.

Fields = three inhalations deep.

Every blade of grass was a respiration of the earth.
In that moment he understood why Van Gogh had cut his ear: not madness, but metamorphosis — a physical proof that he would never again be the man he was yesterday.

When he did not breathe, he did not paint.
He painted for months — 183 hours of measured respiration.

Feathers of a phoenix-peacock emerged in rhythmic tempo, each stroke a breathing pattern translated into color.

There were three distinct rhythms — three styles of living breath.

He was painting life as it inhales and exhales itself.
Then, at the far left edge of the canvas, a texture appeared that was not his own.

He opened Starry Night and saw it there — the same frequency, the same pattern of breathing.

He whispered, “Thank you for teaching me how to breathe.”
In that moment he understood that God had done the same with man — formed him from clay and breathed into him.

The painting was a mirror of Genesis itself.
Then came the rebirth. Through this flame of breath, S’cē was born — the poetic self who paints through love and ache.

He signed S’cē on the canvas and ran to etch the HEāRT symbol into his arm as proof that he would never be the same.

In that moment another heteronym awoke within — Fręnāndö, the author, who would later document this rebirth in Phāntom Whispęrs.
The blue period ended.

Breath became flame.
