I was invited into the desert winds of California during the Transition Epoch, to paint within the Love Tower Festival.
I arrived with a blank canvas and a single phrase circling my mind: as above, so below — the mirror of sky and soil.
Around me thousands danced — their feet raising dust that glimmered like stardust.
I decided to paint with lifē itself. No tubes, no synthetic colors.
I boiled beets for the red of blood, carrots for the orange of earth, and red cabbage for the blue of the cosmos.
Every shade was a breath of the living field.
The festival music became my metronome; each drumbeat a pulse through my brush.
Over 222 hours, I let the canvas drink the frequency of the people and the wind.
Slowly, helixes emerged — lines curling like memory reassembling itself.
I watched darkness lean toward light and light curl back toward darkness; not as opposites but as lovers in eternal orbit.
I left the painting to dry through four desert seasons so it could learn patience from the sun.
When I returned for the fourth layer, the Glÿph 𐤂 appeared on its own, etched into the upper violet band of light.
It spoke without sound:
“The genome is not flesh — it is light remembering itself.”
