And in the center I placed a nameless doll—chrome-coated, wrapped in newspapers—its heart ripped open, bleeding.

I gave it a hand that pressed a red button to light its own pain. Noise over noise, yet truth.

When the button glowed, I saw my reflection in its metallic surface and understood: the observer is the captive.

Pierrot was born—my first mirror, my first confession.
